The 36th edition of International Women's Day in Cameroon goes into the annals of history with the cancelation of the popular march past parades due to the corona virus pandemic

This year's celebration at the Ministry of Territorial Administration began with an educative talk with internally displaced women and girls. This educative talk was chaired by Mairo Elizabeth, Inspector No. 1 of Territorial Administration and  Susanash Limunga, Director of Vocational Institute for Entrepreneurship and Business Management (VINEBUB) who was guest speaker. The purpose of this educative talk was to train these women and girls on technicalities of business, so that they can be financially independent. After the training,  a cross-section of MINAT women, in the same design of this year's fabric, gathered at the Mfoundi restaurant for merry-making. A special buffet and dance spiced the reception. According to the Masters of ceremony, the event is not only about eating and dancing, but also an occasion to pay hommage to MINAT's SG who passed away on January 30, 2021.

Celebration at the Mfoundi Restaurant reached apex when some women interpreted songs of popular artists. MINAT women further shared memorable moments with bits of chicken and sipping glasses of wine, juice, and mineral water. Equally, dancing to playback music did not go unnoticed.  All that ends well went well, the rendez-vous is given for another edition next year.
