Governor of the S.W region Okalia Hands nine Security Vehicles to the Gendarmarie

 The  Governor of South West Region, Mr Benard Okalia Bilai has handed 09 security vehicles to the South West Gendarmerie personnel. The keys to the O9 vehicles, mark, Ford are all Four Wheel Drives were handed to the Legion Commander, Gendarmarie, South West, Colonel Nchinda Mbouzikeu Henri on Friday, February 07, 2020 at the South West Governor' s Office in the presence of other top  military officials.

 
While handing the vehicles from the Ministry of Territorial Administration meant to facilitate movement in the maintenance of peace and order before, during and after the Sunday, Febraury 09, 2020 twin elections, the Governor cautioned the Legion Commander on the optimal and careful usage of the said State vehicles.
 Speaking during the solemn event, Governor Okalia reiterated that the security vehicles from Minister Atanga Nji were nine in number. While six were destined for the gendarmerie, the other three were meant for the Senior Divisional Officers for Meme, Manyu and Lebialem. According to the South West Regional Govermor, the three cars meant for the three SDOs will be escorted to them by the Legion Commander, Gendarmarie, South West, these, he added are meant to facilitate movement of the aforementioned government administrators before, during and after the upcoming twin elections.
 
It should be noted that this distribution process started two weeks ago in Yaounde by the MINAT boss.
