The Interministerial Commission made up of 7 ministers dispatched by the Head of State, Paul Biya, to the Far North region to assess the consequences of the recent floods entered day two of their mission today Friday, September 4, 2020 with a visit to Maga, Alvakai, and Bogo. The  delegation led by Atanga Nji Paul, Minister of Territorial Administration boarded flying boats at Pouss to navigate the Logone River to the village of Alvakai to comfort the victims of the floods.
After their return to Pouss, Minister Atanga Nji Paul told the media that the delegation listened to the please of the population and would carry their worries to the Head of State who sent them afield. He said the delegation called on the population to relocate to safer areas.
Minister Atanga Nji Paul and his delegation had a stopover at the Sultanate of Pouss, in Mayo-Danay Division before moving to assess the damage done by the floods on the embankment built along the Logone River. Day two of the working visit ended in Bogo, in Diamare Division where relief materials from the Presidential Couple were handed to the 178 victims of the floods made up of bags of rice and maize, sugar, groundnut oil, buckets, blankets and mattresses.
Deuxième jour de travail de la Délégation Interministérielle dans la région de l'Extrême Nord ce 4 septembre 2020 ponctuée par la visite des 7 ministres à Alvakai dans le Département Mayo-Danay et la remise des dons du Chef de l'État son Excellence Paul Biya aux populations sinistrée à Bogo dans  le Diamaré .
