The Minister of Territorial Administration Atanga Nji Paul is in Ebolowa, South Region this Wednesday February 3, 2021.

Upon his arrival, the administrative and security authorities led by the Governor of the Region Félix Nguélé Nguélé received him, where he later on chaired a security meeting at the services of the Governor’s office. His preliminary statement during this meeting focused on the security situation in this part of the country and the national unity of Cameroon. As such, MINAT lauded the population of the South Region for hosting internally displaced persons from the South-West and North-West Regions that have been living in harmony with the local population of the city and the Region in general. Minister Atanga Nji equally insisted on maintaining and strengthening security in the South Region due to its proximity to three countries, which are Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Congo, so that all Cameroonians can enjoy peace and living together.

MINAT equally presided over the distribution of the presidential packages to some 4200 Internally Displaced Persons in all the subdivisions of the South Region. The distribution of these packages took place at the courtyard of the Governor's office. The relief items distributed consisted of mosquito nets, groundnut oil, savon, kitchen kits, sanitary kits, foodstuff, matrasses, and blankets just to name these.

 The 2-day visit to the region the minister also visited the newly constructed residence of the governor of the South Region.
