The Interministerial Commission made up of 7 ministers dispatched by the Head of State, Paul Biya, to the Far North region to assess the consequences of the recent floods entered day two of their mission today Friday, September 4, 2020 with a visit to Maga, Alvakai, and Bogo. The delegation led by Atanga Nji Paul, Minister of Territorial Administration boarded flying boats at Pouss to navigate the Logone River to the village of Alvakai to comfort the victims of the floods.
After their return to Pouss, Minister Atanga Nji Paul told the media that the delegation listened to the please of the population and would carry their worries to the Head of State who sent them afield. He said the delegation called on the population to relocate to safer areas.october, 07 2020
