  • Bamenda based IDPs benefit from relief

    Humanitarian aid was handed over to some Internally Displaced Persons who constitute about 400 families from Mezam and Bafut on Tuesday December 29th 2020. The handing over ceremony was held at the Governor's office in Up Station Bamenda and was presided over by governor Adolf Lele l'Afrique.   • MINAT PRESENTS WORDS OF COMFORT TO BEREAVED FAMILIES IN GUIDER IN THE MAYO-LOUTI DIVISION

    The Minister of Territorial Administration Atanga Nji Paul is in Guider this November 30, 2020, to visit the population and present words of comfort after a family of 13 died in a fire incident last week. Guider is situated in the Mayo-Louti Division in the North Region. According to the Senior Divisional Officer Peter Itoe Mbongo they are still unclear of what really happened but they suspect mosquito repellent commonly known as Moon Tiger to be the cause.     Seven candles representing each of the children killed placed in front of their classrooms their names, ages and bible verses

    The Minat boss accompanied by the Governor of the South West Region alongside administrative and security officials paid homage to the slain students on November 2, 2020. This was the second visit of the Minat boss to Kumba after the incident with messages of condolence and assistance from President Paul Biya who declared a day of National mourning on October 31, 2020, for the Victims of the terrorist attack on Mother Francisca International Bilingual Academy, Fiango Kumba. The incident took place on October 24, 2020 by terrorists, leaving 7 dead and over a dozen seriously injured.

  • Interministerial Delegation to the Far North Region hits the Field.
    The Interministerial Commission made up of 7 ministers dispatched by the Head of State, Paul Biya, to the Far North region to assess the consequences of the recent floods entered day two of their mission today Friday, September 4, 2020 with a visit to Maga, Alvakai, and Bogo. The  delegation led by Atanga Nji Paul, Minister of Territorial Administration boarded flying boats at Pouss to navigate the Logone River to the village of Alvakai to comfort the victims of the floods.
    After their return to Pouss, Minister Atanga Nji Paul told the media that the delegation listened to the please of the population and would carry their worries to the Head of State who sent them afield. He said the delegation called on the population to relocate to safer areas.october, 07 2020
