MINAT holds its first preparatory meeting for Women's day

Preparations for the 52nd edition of the International women's day took place on February 27th 2020 at the confrence hall of the Ministry of Territorial Administration. This meeting was chaired by the number I inspector of Territorial Administration Mairo Elizabeth. Women were called during this meeting for the accelaration of preparations as the D- day is near. The close to 2hrs meeting ended with suggestions geared toward a sucessful 2020 women's day in MINAT.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press,
On November 10, 2019, the President of the Republic of Cameroon, Head of State, H.E. Paul BIYA, convened the electorate for the twin legislative and municipal elections of 9 February 2020.
Information from Elections Cameroon (ELECAM), the independent body in charge of organizing elections in Cameroon, indicates that thirty-three (33) political parties presented candidates for parliamentary elections while forty-four (43) political parties presented candidates for municipal elections.

Governor of the S.W region Okalia Hands nine Security Vehicles to the Gendarmarie

The Governor of South West Region, Mr Benard Okalia Bilai has handed 09 security vehicles to the South West Gendarmerie personnel. the Minister of territorial administration informs leadears of political parties taking part in the twin legislative and municipal elections of 8 february 2020 that, in accordance with provisions of Section 285 of Law No. 2012/001 of 19 April 2012 on the Electoral Code, as amended and supplemented by law No. 2012/017 of 21 december 2012, funds have been made available for campaigns. the first instalment of the said funds shall be shared in proportion to the lists approved while the second shall be shared out after the publication of results, in proportion to the number of seats obtained.
