MINAT RECEIVES IN AUDIENCE THE NIGERIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER TO CAMEROON

The Minister of Territorial Administration Atanga Nji Paul granted an audience to the Nigerian High Commissioner to Cameroon General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin.

The about thirty minutes audience on September 1, 2021 was an occasion for both parties to review bilateral links between the two countries with the end of the 8th session of Cameroon-Nigeria transboarder security in Abuja Nigeria held from the 24th to the 26th, August 2021. Talking to the press after the audience, the Nigerian High Commissioner stated that very soon the outcome of the deliberations of the 8th session would be more practical, which is to reinforce the security of both nations. “It is a follow up of the 7th session whereby a lot of issues came up. So, the 8th session was to look at those aspects of the 7th session that were not adequately attended due to the covid-19 pandemic of 2020”. He noted.  Cameroon and Nigeria have strong collaboration in the domains of economy and security that include combatting terrorism.
