The Minister of Territorial Administration Commends the Littoral Region for Resilience

MINAT Boss, Atanga Nji Paul, on November 12, 2025, did a situational analysis of the Littoral Region, following tensions linked to the October 12 presidential election that disturbed the area. A total of 829 persons, including 26 females and 36 minors, were arrested during post-election manifestations. The minister has castigated « an irresponsible politician » for using naive children as young as 12 years old to satisfy his political ego, which has not helped Cameroon. The minister greatly praised the population of the Littoral Region for largely turning down the path of insurrection, emphasising that they should continue to practise peace and say no to disorder. Quoting from the Bible that « all authority comes from God », Minister Atanga Nji called on the people of the Littoral Region to respect President Paul Biya and join him in constructing the nation in order to safeguard the achievements of Cameroon. With the horrors of Boko Haram and the crisis in the Northwest and Southwest, the MINAT boss expects the Littoral to cherish peace and turn away from

disorder.
