EFOULAN VILLAGE, EBOLOWA GETS NEW PARISH

It was an exceptional day at the Efoulan village in Ebolowa on Saturday May 29,2021.

The event was the consecration service of the newly constructed Mary Immaculate conception parish by Philipe Alain Mbarga, the bishop of the Ebolowa Diocese. The solemn event was attended by the personal representive of the Head of State, Samuel Mvodo Ayolo, Minister, Director of the civil cabinet of the Republic, a cross section of cabinet ministers, administrative authorities, religious, traditional leaders, elites of the region, without forgetting the population. Madame Yvonne Bang Atanga congregational parish president during her welcome speech said herself , her husband and Minister Atanga Nji Paul in honour of late Pa Atanga, father of Atanga Nji Paul decided to reconstruct the Efoulan catholic church that had been demolished. She further thanked the Head of State, Paul Biya for his support in assigning minister Samuel Mvodo Ayolo to represent him in the consecration mass. She added that, the church will serve as a place of prayers and will lead to other development project in the village. Madame Yvonne Atanga during the consecration service prayed catholic churches in Cameroon will emulate such examples and construct schools and hospitals.
