junuary, 05 2021Humanitarian aid was handed over to some Internally Displaced Persons who constitute about 400 families from Mezam and Bafut on Tuesday December 29th 2020. The handing over ceremony was held at the Governor's office in Up Station Bamenda and was presided over by governor Adolf Lele l'Afrique. junuary, 05 2021The Minister of Territorial Administration Atanga Nji Paul is in Guider this November 30, 2020, to visit the population and present words of comfort after a family of 13 died in a fire incident last week. Guider is situated in the Mayo-Louti Division in the North Region. According to the Senior Divisional Officer Peter Itoe Mbongo they are still unclear of what really happened but they suspect mosquito repellent commonly known as Moon Tiger to be the cause. The family members were aged between 2 to 37 years. It happened on the night of the 26th breaking 27th of November, 2020.
