Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea Clarifying Border lssues

The Ad-hoc Commission meeting, on the demarcation of maritime and land borders between Cameroon and Guinea goes in-depth. For three days now experts are gathered in Djibloho, Equatorial Guinea, with the active participation of the Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Ni Paul who is the head of the Cameroonian delegation at the meeting. On the agenda of the discussions between the different parties is the evaluation and precision of the common border between the two States. In the course of the meeting the delegates had various documents presented before them including the minutes of the proceedings, which will be translated into Spanish and will be analyzed and amended, the document relating to the Franco-German protocol of December 24, 1885, which specifies the limits and possessions of the two countries on the coast of Africa and in Oceania and the document on the Franco-Spanish convention of June 27, 1900, which defines the limits of Spanish possessions in West Africa and on the coast of Guinea. These important documents are being studied by members of the commission to have more insights of their borderline.
