International Women’s Day 2025: MINAT Women Démonstrate Dynamism

The women of the Ministry of Territorial Administration celebrated the 40th International Women’s Day with an exhibition of dynamism. The women began the commemoration on this March 8, 2025, with a march past before the First Lady of the Republic and then continued with sociocultural activities. There was a singing and dancing competition, a quiz, and a Miss MINAT competition. The winners of the competition were handed prizes. Prizes were also awarded to those who took part in a basketball and handball competition that was organised on March 7. The MINAT Secretary General, Yves Christian Edoa Effa, chaired the Women’s Day activities, where he praised MINAT women for being dynamic, showcased through their everyday role in office work as well as in their feminine roles and sociocultural talents. He encouraged the women to continue to go higher as the platform offers a fair ground for both men and women. The Women’s Day activities were coordinated by Ndzie Tsama Angele, the focal point of the event, who doubles as the head of the Civil Protection Division.

The day rounded off with merrymaking.
