On June 11, 2024, the Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul, received Bruno Yapande, the Central African Republic’s (CAR) Minister of Territorial Administration, Decentralization, and Local Development. Following the meeting, the CAR Minister addressed the press, stating that discussions revolved around cross-border security management. They also set a specific date for the ad-hoc commission meeting scheduled for June 25 to 27, 2024 in CAR. Accompanying CAR Minister was Madame Jeanette Maralle Gotchanga, the Central African Republic’s ambassador to Cameroon.
