Atanga Nji Paul, Minister of Territorial Administration, on January 12th, 2024, joined the Council of Imams and Muslim Dignitaries of Cameroon (CIDIMUC) in prayers for peace and prosperity at the Briqueterie Central Mosque in Yaounde. The prayer for the nation was led by Dr. Moussa Oumarou, General Coordinator of CIDIMUC, assisted by ten imams from across ten regions in Cameroon. During the prayer, Imam Moussa Oumarou invoked Allah for good health upon President Biya and upon MINAT alongside other members of government charged with state responsibility. He offered Cameroon into God’s hand, with a plea for serenity, protection, love and unity. He continued with a petition for Allah to guide Cameroonians for an end to injustice, violence, terrorism, tribalism and all other threats of destabilization. Special prayers were said for stability to be restored in the Northwest, Southwest and Far North Regions. Dr. Moussa Oumarou expressed the Head of State’s gratitude to Minister Atanga Nji and thanked the Minister for being present.
