Minister Atanga Nji has encouraged bike riders in Bafoussam with free fuel and five thousand francs each. It was a token to appreciate them for rejecting public disorder and marching for peace during protests after the October 12 presidential election.The distribution of the fuel was done at the Africa Petroleum SA filling station in the Socada neighbourhood.where bikers rejoiced for having a recognition in contributing to peace. While encouraging them, the MINAT boss cautioned them against denouncing ghost towns and destabilisation of the nation.Quoting from Saint Paul in the scriptures, he warned that « there is no food for a lazy man, » thus urging the motorcycle riders to never give in to civil disobedience, which is synonymous with laziness.On hand to accompany the minister was the governor of the West Region, Awa Fonka Augustine, the SDO of the Mifi Division and other administrative authorities.
