Presided over by the Minister of the Territorial Administration ATANGA NJI Paul from 17th to 18th July 2023 the developments on the theme: « Security challenges, facing high crime and drug trafficking in school » were rich with teachings and directives to the heads of the Regions. Joint communications from the Secretary of State for Defense in charge of the National Gendarmerie and the Deputy General for National Security, then from the Ministers of Secondary and Basic Education, it is clear that the security situation is overall under control across the national territory. In the face of rising crime and the challenge of state authority, force will remain with the law. Regarding drug trafficking and violence in schools, the heads of relevant departments have assured that a series of measures will be adopted to eradicate these phenomena. Regarding the closing of the meetings, the Secretary General of MINAT, Yves Christian Edoua Effa, has released the comprehensive content of the final report. Before putting the key under the door mat, the Minister of Territorial Administration gave firm directives and directives to the Governors of the Regions. To that end, they must, as in the past, redouble their efforts and stand firm against all that threatens peace, tranquility, the authority of the state and that which defies the laws of the Republic.
